Our Story

Bethel Incorporated Agencies was established in Ghana in October 2000 under the Registrar General's department, company code, 1963 (Act 179) to trade in cash crops such as Voacanga Africana Seeds and Griffonia Simplicifolia Seeds as well as Cashew nuts, Robusta coffee, for export. The company is mainly export oriented, but equally buys and sells raw Botanicals and cash crops, thus Voacanga Africana, Coffee Robusta, Griffonia Simplicifolia and Cashew Nuts. The company registered with Ghana Export Promotion Authority as a Commercial Exporter and has been exporting since 2004. The company also considers farmers in its pricing by buying and selling goods at a fair price. By maintaining these objectives makes a fair profit that would allow it to contribute to the community and the nation as a whole.

Griffonia simplicifolia is a plant native to West Africa that produces 5-HTP. 5-HTP is a chemical that is converted into serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood, appetite, and sleep. 5-HTP is commonly used as a dietary supplement to treat depression, anxiety, and insomnia.

Voacanga africana is a tree native to Central and West Africa, known for its seeds containing voacangine and ibogaine alkaloids. Voacangine has potential as a treatment for neurological disorders and ibogaine has been studied for reducing opioid withdrawal symptoms, while the seeds and bark have traditional medicinal uses.

Cashews are the seeds of the cashew tree, a tropical evergreen tree that is native to Brazil but now grown in many countries. Cashews are widely used in cooking and baking, as well as being a popular snack food, due to their rich, creamy flavor and texture. They are also a good source of protein, healthy unsaturated fats, and various vitamins and minerals.

Robusta coffee is a species of coffee grown primarily in Africa and Southeast Asia. It has a higher caffeine content and a stronger, bitter flavor compared to other coffee species. Caffeine, a stimulant found in robusta coffee, can provide a temporary boost of energy and improve mental alertness.
